Santaella Surgery

Had to have gallbladder surgery after gallstones caused me some crazy pain! Loved this small office that provided personal attention and showed great compassion. Doc is very personable and open. He has an exceptional bed side manner. After previous medical appointments, I’d have to google verbiage rattled off to me. This was not the case here. He will take the time to answer any questions or concerns you have. He will explain thoroughly what to expect. I wasn’t concerned at all going into surgery. And, I felt immediately better that same day! On a side note, he has a good sense of humor and is an amazing photographer. I personally liked that an artist was going to preform my surgery because I knew he would have an eye for detail.

Took my appendix out laparoscopically and I was walkin' around just days after. Follow-up with him was fast, to the point.. no complications or difficulties!

Dr Santaella took great care of me for a hernia repair. His office is very comforting and his staff is great. The surgery center at Craig Ranch was very professional. The repair went well and I have had no complications , and my recovery went well. The best thing about the experience was how fast Dr Santaella's staff got me in to see him and got me on the surgery schedule. I was one week into recovery before another surgeon was even going to be able to see me for the initial consult. I would recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Santaella and staff communicated clearly with me about my surgery and were available for any questions I had afterwards. Surgery and recovery went very well.
