DFW Swim - ISR Mckinney, Allen, Plano

This is our second year with Megan. She is kind, professional, and awesome! My daughter was skilled quicker than expected and continued to build on her skills through her session. We will use Megan again next year for a refresher course! I would highly recommend her.

Megan is the absolute best of the best! She had my 22 month old floating in 1 week, and swimming by the end of week 4!
We spend tons of time around water, and my daughter has 0 fear. I was extremely nervous and hesitant about ISR, but Megan made me feel so comfortable and explained everything every step of the way.
My daughter is also pretty difficult in new environments and with new people, and Megan was so patient with her!
I’m SO glad we decided to do ISR, and even more glad we found Megan! I’d never send my child to anyone else!

I could go on for paragraphs about how amazing Megan is as an instructor. ISR can be scary for parents - with Megan from the first session I immediately knew my son (15 months) was in great hands. Megan is up to date on all ISR teaching techniques, is constantly learning, and is extremely knowledgeable on infants and children in general. She is calm in the pool even when infants/children are crying, having a hard time focusing, struggling etc. She gives them time to burp, breathe and rest in between floats. She is structured and timely! - as a parent you will always know what to do, whether it is swim diapers, QR code questions, what time you are to arrive etc. One of my favorite things besides her awesome lessons is that she is AMAZING at communicating. That is often hard to find. Megan also has been more than helpful with working out some classes for my son before we leave for Germany(active duty family). Some people would consider me a helicopter parents and Megan goes beyond my expectations. Not to mention my son was almost fully skilled by session 6 and by the end of the course he was clapping for himself after his floats!! I can’t express the relief I have knowing if he were to fall in water he would be able to float until someone were to get to him. Not every instructor is built the same and Megan is a special one!! Thank you Megan!

We love Mrs. Megan! She is a wonderfully patient and kind swim instructor who was able to work with my not quite 2 year old with very limited pool experience, because of COVID, into a full on floater. She was able see through the varying moods of my toddler and now he’s ready to swim. I appreciate the ISR program and the skill and professionalism of Mrs. Megan! We’re looking forward to progressing in the program!

I highly recommend Megan for ISR lessons. She was extremely patient with my 2 year old daughter who screams the entire time during every lesson. And yes this is our second summer of ISR but she still screams… or as Megan says, compliantly complains haha. Megan really helped my daughter learn to love to swim to the side and as we enter into week 6 of our lessons, she is rocking it. She is so sweet, kind and gentle while teaching kids to save their lives. Priceless! Thank you Megan for all that you do! We love Mrs. Megan ❤️
