  Great home cooking, excellent price and substantial portions! Menu variety was more that expected, good selection of drinks and very polite staff and owner.

  I have lived in McKinney for some time now, and never knew of Arlene's. I discovered it today, and I am happy that I did. Arlene's has something for everyone. From the food to the music, down to whats on the tv's. They had an old Football game on one, a cooking show on another, and the Avengers on another TV. It was really cool feel. The service was top notch and extremely friendly. Because it was my 1st time there, I had to try many different items.
  The boneless chicken wings were a tad over cooked, however their version of the BLT was awesome. I will definitely go back again for that sandwich:)
  Lastly, I tried the Key Lime Pie. It was good, just a little sweet for my tastes buds. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would recommend ?

  Arlene's restaurant was recommended on our Next Door so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! The food was excellent and the portions generous. My husband said the chicken fried steak and okra were the best he had ever had and he has tried many across the state. I had the blackened catfish and it was great too. All in all an excellent experience and we look forward to trying their dine in option the next time. Please support this local business.

  We ordered curbside pickup for the first time from Arlene’s this week. Ordering from their website was easy. Everything was very good and tasted fresh and homemade. The family pack of four entrees and four sides had generous portions. The Mac and Cheese and Mexican Corn were really delicious. Fried Okra, Tuscan veggies, Chicken Parmesan, and lemon pepper boneless wings were also very good. Service was fast and food was piping hot when we picked it up. We will definitely be back on a regular basis!

  We really enjoyed the food each time and have tried different entrees. First time was curbside pickup. Has Chicken fried chicken and Salisbury steak. Both were delicious and fresh made!! Chicken was moist which I really liked. Sides were very, very good. A few days ago we ordered take out. It was again very good and like going to grandma’s house for dinner. Chicken fried steak (very good meat) and Meatloaf with sides. All was great again. So nice to have a great place to get really tasty and fresh food right in the neighborhood!!
