(September 16, 2020, 6:13 pm)Until I broke my back in 3 places at the age of 46, I had not experienced intense chronic pain. Intense pain, yes. Chronic pain yes, but intense and chronic simultaneously was a new feeling to me. I would consider myself as a person that has an usually high pain tolerance, but this pain is different. It affects every minute of my day and has brought me to one of the lowest and loneliest places of my life.
If there is one thing I have realized through this battle, its that finding empathy is much harder than I anticipated it would be. That's why I am giving Dr. Adepitan a 5 star review. She gave me plenty of time to talk, to vent, to express my own unique struggle with pain. Trust me, this is unique. Other locations give you about 2 minutes to talk and put you on the assembly line for shots. Although shots and rhizotomy can be effective for some patients, we all still deserve to be educated about these treatments. Dr. Adepitan provides this human side of medicine that seems to be missing from many doctors today. -

(July 17, 2020, 9:48 am)I highly recommend Dr. Adepitan. The staff is very friendly and the doctor tries to stay on schedule, not making patients wait an hour before seeing the doctor. Also, she doesn't rush through the appointment. She takes her time and gives you her undivided attention.
