  Recently had some doggie eye issues and needed to make a few more trips to VEI. We are in love with this office and everyone in it! The entire staff is compassionate and listens diligently to all concerns, answering all questions. They make our dogs feel extremely comfortable and you can tell how much they care. Highly recommend this office to anyone needing ophthalmology care for their pets!

  Veterinary Eye Institute is amazing! My frenchie, Dolly, got a scratched cornea from my playing with her little brother, Elvis. I’m so thankful for my vet’s referral to Dr Corbin Telford; there aren’t enough kind words to say about this man and his care to my sweet girl. He explained her situation and even drew a picture for a visual representation of her condition. Highly recommend, it’s worth the wait to get in!!

  So helpful. I found them after 3 other vets and an ophthalmologist could not help my dog over the course of a year and a half. I travel over 3 hours to take my baby here. The other vets were in the right ballpark, but had no help, suggestions, recommendations to offer. First visit here in August of last year we got Fi on track. She was fine for 6 months and has flare up now that is not better after following the plan we used last time. They usually have a several week wait, but got us in quickly. I feel the current plan will get her feeling better and we have a next step to get a more permanent solution. Love them!

  Had to get my baby checked out bc of a growth and he had to have surgery. They didn't butcher my baby like his primary vet and they made him look so beautiful!! He's doing great and actually liked the vet techs!

  When I finally had to make the decision to have my pups eye removed due to glaucoma, I immediately spoke with my Primary Veterinarian (Frisco West AMC - Dr. Chris Tucker). He very highly recommended VEI.
  The entire experience made me very comfortable starting at the 1st phone call.
  The entire staff, Keely, Darius, Alexis, Laura, Christina, and probably a bunch more whose names I cannot remember were awesome.
  My first meeting/ examination with Dr. Telford was just as promising. Upon scheduling her surgery and heading back home, I felt a sense of relief already. I thought I would be anxious about this whole deal. Their combined knowledge, professionalism and attention to every detail (including the parents anxieties) was spot on. They also helped navigate my crazy work schedule to get this handled quickly and in the time frames I was available.
  I would not recommend anyone in this area to go anywhere else for their "kids" eye needs.
  My Abbey is all healed up and back to her normal life and she looks great
