I Took my Chev 1500 Suburban in to check for some AC repairs done by ANOTHER AC shop (Davis Automotive, Dallas, TX) after being charged $1,101.81, for incomplete repairs done on 9/20/2019, and mileage was 208,763, I kept having the same problems as I had in the first place within days and after the 3rd time, I returned to them to do what I paid for and NOT GETTING IT DONE, I was told "WE DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS". I then asked for a RE-FUND, as their invoice VERY CLEARLY SAYS they give a ONE YEAR or 12,000 miles Warranty on ALL REPAIRS. But was told NO, we can't do that as we had to pay the mechanic for whatever work he did, even if it didn't correct the original problem I paid for.
On 2/6/2020 and mileage of 214,429, I took my Chev 1500 Suburban to Allison's AutoCare and within hours of them doing testing, they advise me that the problem they found was the "SENSOR was UNPLUGGED", they plugged it in, reassembled the instrument cluster, ac control head and radio and the system is operating as it did when the vehicle was new. The total cost for testing, finding problem, correcting the unplugged sensor etc. was just over $300.00, BIG difference from the $1,101.81 I paid for NOTHING to Davis Automotive and repaired NOTHING..

My family and I are so lucky to have Dave, Scott and the others around. We take all of our cars here from anything as little as oil changes to engine troubles. They are so quick to get down to the issues and are very well at explaining the work that needs to be done to fix it AND they get the work done in a timely manner. Thank you guys!
My mom has been going to Allison's for 30 years and in her words they treat her like royalty. I'm grateful that my mom has an honest, safe, reliable place to get her car taken care of. She most recently had some repairs and a new set of tires and they made it so easy and the tires were priced great. If you're in East Plano, Plano don't go anywhere else but Allison's!!!!
