HOJA Bubble Tea & Asian Street Food

Good assortment of hot food and snacks, and a variety of fresh tea drinks. Wednesday is happy hour all day with $3.50 drinks.
I had the crispy chicken bento box and the chicken has a great crispy and crunchy exterior. Brown sugar Assam milk tea with pudding at 50% sweetness was just right.

I can say this is one of my favorite places to get my boba drink. 1/2 off on all their drinks on Wednesday. My family loves this place too. The food is great, except that the quantity has reduced and the ingredients are not the same as before. That I can understand as the price of ingredients have increased. They even have some games for the kids to play. I am sure adults can join too.

Increasing rating to 5 after trying more of the food. The street food selections are very good with some authentic options.

Pork intestine noodle soup has a strong organ flavor if you are into that. Sausage in sticky rice is a classic street food and the flavor was good though the portion was small. The sesame noodles with chicken were also really good with homemade sesame sauce. Very refreshing. The drinks are always made fresh and have strong tea flavor.

I've been in the neighborhood by HOJA for years and just recently discovered this Taiwanese cafe gem!! 😍 I am nostalgic for Taiwanese food and was definitely looking for a place like this. I ordered the braised pork rice and it was so good, my stomach was so happy. The place is decorated with lovely canvas paintings and there is a wall partition with fans and steam basket lids, which I thought were creative additions for decoration. For bubble tea, I tried the mung bean slushie. The drink size is huge!! I'll definitely be back soon to try other dishes and boba.
