(February 10, 2020, 10:54 am)The staff was prompt courteous, and processed my procedure with proficiency. They don't waste time. You're in, and out in a timely manner. I'm sure the beds stay warm on Friday!

(February 9, 2020, 12:10 pm)This place is amazing- the staff, cleanliness, efficiency at check-in. The facility deserves a five star rating in all areas except one: TRANSPORTATION POLICY. Unfortunately, Park Ambulatory Surgery Center is making it nearly impossible for patients (who depend on others to provide transportation to and from the facility) in order to keep their appointments. They once provided a transportation service which is no longer available. On the day of my appointment, I was unaware of the current policy with regard to patient transportation. Based on my particular experience this is (part) of the policy:
1. No UBER or Lyft
2. Your ride must stay in the waiting room. (To our surprise and consternation my ride was called and told to come back to the facility and wait (hours) or they would cancel my procedure.)
3. We learned it is also unacceptable for the person providing the ride to wait in the car just outside the door.
Everyone I know who can drive also has a family, a job, some two jobs. They can’t take time off work to wait in a room for multiple hours, potentially with sick people. If their child is sick, the child can’t wait for hours in a waiting room. The child may become more sick or pass the virus to others in the confined space.
Based upon the very difficult transportation policy at Park Ambulatory Surgery Center, I may have to rethink the choice of facilities for my outpatient procedures which will inevitably impact my choice of physicians.
