  I lived here for 10 months. I loved my apartment and I never had any issues with my neighbors. I give it 4 stars because rent was higher than I felt was necessary and my door didn't have a peep hole for added security. Other than that the staff was always helpful, kind, and courteous. The laundry room was always clean and in good working condition.

  The people giving 1 or 2 stars need to quit complaining. The staff here has always treated me right.

  As a past female resident I lived at Timber Ridge my last 11 months in a Alaska before moving back down to the lower 48's. I was happy with the location, it wasn't in ANC even though I did work in town there, but I just didn't want to live in ANC.
  
  I will say my apt was on the 2nd floor in the newer building. You "can hear" a lot going on around you. I suggest getting a 3rd floor corner apt, or just waiting till 1 is available.
  
  Because, I had a hard time with the person above me & even below me, you can hear just as much. But I recommend when you get your 3rd floor apartment, put down a nice "thick" area rug so that way you don't hear as much of your neighbor below. I tried a few things to help with the noise, but I was sandwiched in the floors.
  
  Maybe even hang some nice decorative rugs on the walls. When an apt doesn't have carpeting & good sub flooring a lot of things can be heard & not intentionally listening for. That was my experience living there.
  
  I will say when I wanted to transfer with this company the process was not successful. The communication between the offices was just not there. But the office personnel at TimberRidge were great, not problems there..

  Lived in these apartments for almost two years now. Military friendly, as well as pet friendly. Only bad thing I have to say is you have to pay for laundry and the units dont have washers/dryers themselves. Its an apartment so the walls are a little thin so sometimes you can hear people around you walking around or doing whatever when its quiet. Commute to anchorage or base isnt that bad either. The office staff is always nice and willing to help.

  I lived in Timber Ridge Apartments in Eagle River for just over a year and had absolutely no issues. Everyone at the office was kind, respectful, and prompt when I had any questions. It was very quiet, my neighbors were courteous, and if I wasn’t moving across the country I would have been glad to continue living there.
