“Dr. Rhodes was a wonderful doctor. I was originally going through the VA for my service connected hip. Since the VA did not have a hip specialist, he accepted the case for them. He was very nice and answered my questions and concerns clearly. When I brought up other possible options, he was nice to explain why they were not viable for this situation. He also found problems in my knee from the VA MRI that I've been complaining about for years and the VA said nothing was wrong. I didn't bring up the knee, he did, so it was not prodding. He performed the surgery and found a bone spur that was not shown on the MRI that was causing the labral tear that did. I've had a previous surgery on that hip for labral resections and have had pain in it since discharge. This is the first time in 14 years that I can walk somewhat without pain and my cane (though bad limp). Now the goal is to get that range of motion back and strength that I lost over the years. That will be the challenge since I have to go through the VA for PT. He is definitely doing that knee and also my shoulder that the VA has messed up because I no longer trust them and have been looking outside for over a year. 4 surgeries and nothing but getting worst each time. I have confidence that he can fix them and if not, at least make them pain free to tolerable and functional, in essence, better than now.”

My sincere thanks to Dr. Gokaraju who was very kind and gentle to my 88 years old Dad who was in pain and we could not figure out what was wrong with him. Last year before Christmas my Father experienced lots of pain in his foot, his foot turns purple. the suggestion is to see rheumatologist - which I have no idea what that is. Since it was close to the holiday and not many would take new patient right away - Dr. Gokaraju was the only one that I was able to have the appointment immediately. I was impressed with her gentleness and expertise and after the examination - she indicated that the symptoms perhaps are more serious since she can't find anything that is related to rheumatologist. It was Dr. Gokaraju that insisted that I took my Father to ER immediately- and if it was not for her and Dr. Patel-Banker pushing me to take my Dad to the ER - my Father would not be here today a year later. Eventhough it was not related to rheumatology related - Dr Gokaraju follow-up with a phone call to check to see how is my Father doing. The entire staff and both Dr. Gokaraju and Dr. Patel-Banker were very attentive, caring, and their expertise reflected upon their guidance to their patients.”
