“UPDATE Nov 2020. We have lost count of the number of home improvement/remodeling jobs KC has done for this house. The latest was to replace four outside doors after 22 years of use and wear and tear. The work was well planned and completed in short order. I have already told them of 2021 project.s We have been using their services for many years.. They are my first choice for home repairs beyond my skill level. Especially if it means getting above the first floor outside or on the roof. Window cleaning, sun shade screening, fence repairs, minor plumbing, tile flooring and attic insulation are many things they have done over the years. Most recent was repairs following a hail storm. They did the finish work by painting the entire house and fixing broken window frames and screens. If they can't do it Kangaroo can provide an excellent referral. UPDATE Aug 2015. They finished a great modeling job on kitchen; new everything except cabinets which didn't need change. Scheduling all the sub-contractors took the headache out of getting the job done right and quickly. UPDATE May 2016. And they did another great job on master bathroom. Not as extensive as kitchen but still well done. UPDATE Dec 2018 Repairs completed in an excellent manner due to leaking roof damage in family room. Fixed sheet rock and repainted. Also replaced/repaired worn faded trim on roof area and installed better turbo wind vanes for attic.”

He came to take a look at what I thought was a wasp issue and saw that it was just a small mud daubers nest! He took care of the issue within 10 seconds and told me not to worry about it because it's barely an issue. “Update: At the end of the Day it all came together and my backyard looks amazing We are now 9 months in to the pool now and still having problems I email, I call but nothing, I have asked to make an appointment to sit down with the owner before my pool is out of warranty but nothing. This was via email, because of the fact that the over flow valve is constantly putting water in the pool and now come to find out yesterday when I got my water tested, it has ZERO chlorine and may be in danger of having algae. Contact me please, you have my number. But on the up side, the people that clean the filters are amazing and came out the same week to clean out the filter. Because I have to give them 1 star. Very disappointed! Beware! No integrity, No standards. The company went through 2 Supervisors during the timeline. Started in June 12, 2018 and the project didn’t end until December 26, 2018 (a job that Zac said would last 6 to 8 weeks) First off, the digging crew came and brought old equipment and, their supervisor literally slept on my patio furniture for 3 hours. Then I received a call saying they I had to pay extra for the digging time. I had to fight with them and reminded them that I have the gentleman asleep on camera so they cut the price in half but still well over $1,000. After the nightmare of the dig it all went downhill from there. Everyone that was scheduled to come either had another job or was pushed back 2-3 weeks. The pool company was never on the same sheet of music as the Bank. I made 2 trips to the bank for no reason, the pool company told me to go pick up a check and the bank said it had to be inspected first. As this was my first pool and Prestige’s 50th at least, they should have known the protocol. I can go on and on about how bad the Service was and how Eugene the owner, Garry and Gene, refused to meet with me, and or call me back. But they came while I was at work and the only reason I knew they came is was because I saw them on my security cameras. How their lack of communication with me and even with his own staff was loss for words and a lack of trust for them. Being that every time I would call or go by, no one would know what was going on or would be in a meeting of a lifetime. It’s like Eugene is in it just for the money. At the end I had to get the Bank involved and they made them do SOME of the work. I will not post pictures yet of the front yard do to Prestige promising the Bank that they would fix my yard back to normal. Everyone Blamed the other person. Blame game at its best. SAD And I will post pictures of what they showed me what the pool area would look like and the end product. Keep in mind all I WANTED was ROCK, NO sod or greenery. Pictures are the pool area end product. PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY, THIS COMPANY HAS VERY LOW STANDARDS.”

“We love the pull-out shelves very much. David is very professional and gave us honest advice. We have 3 dead corners, in which the "lazy-Susan" style won't fit. David came up with great suggestions on how to use the dead-corners and warned us of the usability of those double-shelves (I don't know what to call it, maybe the pictures attached can explain them). They were definitely not for daily use but they stored our annually-used pots and plates very well. Also, he helped us remove all center stiles of our upper cabinets and warned us of how much weight the upper shelves can stand. Those center stiles were really a nuisance and we couldn't be more happier with them gone. With so much usable space on lower cabinets now, we don't even have things to put on the upper cabinets.”

“This was our first major interior home remodeling project (we did an entire teardown and rebuild of our kitchen, and while these things are never easy, we were pleased with the work that Black & White Kitchen did. Manuel and his crew worked very hard timely and quality completion of the work, and our site manager Apolo stopped by regularly to make sure everything was running smoothly. The workers showed up more or less on time, when expected. If any changes needed to be made, or we needed clarification on something, our office contacts Gerson and MItsy were quick to respond to our inquiries. When our appliances we bought were not working properly, they did their best to troubleshoot. I greatly appreciate that they never left us hanging during the project, which was something I was very nervous about. The team completed the project in about 4 weeks, which was a bit delayed due to everything being on backorder due to COVID, but more or less within the estimated time frame.”

“I visited this studio a long time ago. It's a clean Russ Berger designed studio. Very advanced equipment and good clean atmosphere. Later I became an engineer myself and opened Julian's Heavy Metal Amp Room in West Tawakoni where we track mainly heavy metal drums and guitars and during the design phase I thought of the layout of this studio and it was always an influence in the back of my mind. Russ Berger was a master of his craft and if he designed it - it sounds good. Always one of my favorite places when I'm in DFW.”
