“Otto is a great school with phenomenal faculty and excellent facilities. Many opportunities are available for students at Otto. Lots of talented, intelligent students attend Otto Middle School. However, many students here don't appreciate the school detracting from the quality of classes.The lack of a tennis program is also illogical considering the existence of tennis courts on the campus and school's high budget.”

“My son went here from 12 weeks to 1 year old. All the teachers (Ankita, Connie, Celine, Miss K) were really nice and seemed to care about my son. Even the employees that weren't in his room would say hi to him in the mornings. They have an app that allows you to follow their progress and receive pictures throughout the day. We unfortunately had to move and we will miss them!”

“Eric and the Catering crew were FIRST Class! The course was wonderful! We had a Masonic Charity Golf Tournament and everyone loved the diggs. “I've read what others have commented about not easy to find, the layout, it being small, old, & the service being not so great. I've attended events & football games here since 2005 and none of those have been my experience. Football games are always fun, loud, & packed! Wylie East High Raiders & Wylie High Pirates share the stadium. Both schools are great & talented as well, always playing something fun & entertaining us with their dances, music, & the games. The band, dance, cheer, ROTC, are always encouraging others & hyping up the viewers. They're friendly and at every game they bring over people from the other teams to make friends. The stadium is large, clean, newish, & well kept. Bathrooms are clean & lots to choose from. Never a long line. Concession food is good, considering its concession food. The concession stands & gates are run by volunteer students & parents trying to earn for their clubs or events. The stadium is located directly behind the Wylie High school, across from the Super Kroger & B&B Movie Theater. For those with back issues, if you're on the home side, reserve a center (red) seat. They're bucket seats with a back. Not well cushioned however. I've always brought myself a foam chair pad, when sitting in those, or the foldable chairs you can attach to the bleachers. You can find those chairs at the Kroger across the street. They allow you to bring in blankets/pillows as well.”

“I had, hands down, the coolest group of ESS teachers during my elementary school years (1997-2001). I learned how to draw and so much more from these guys and girls. Summer ESS was so eventful for me as a kid, everyday there was a list of awesome things to do, all planned out. We all would chill in the empty classrooms and build forts out of the desks, and do whatever the hell we wanted....to an extent. I wonder where these people are now... Mr.Scott, the man with the soulpatch and sunglasses that taught me how to draw chrome reflections on text. Or Mr.Gray, the guy that had a comic book in the makings about the four horsemen of the apocalypse that rode motorcycles. Or ms.brittany i think? The lady that stayed late with us after my brother and I had our babysitter completely forget to pick us up. Yeah she put the simpsons on and fed us hot dogs for dinner. Oh, and it was pretty cool knowing some of the punk band, Agent 51, watched over a bunch of elementary school kids. All of them had such a big impact on who i am now and its crazy how fast they left my life. I wish i could meet them all again and see if they remember me, cause i will never forget them.”

“We cannot say enough positive things about Carpe. Carpe has been a major part of our lives for the last 8 years. With two children matriculating through the Carpe programs at 2 different campuses, we are proud to call Carpe home. The three things that were important for us in considering a preschool were: Safety, Teachers/Staff, Curriculum. We have been impressed by the security processes that Carpe continues to enhance with new safety technology. We can rest at ease that only the people that need to be in the building are there and our babies are protected. Each of our two children have drastically different personalities and EVERY SINGLE DAY and every interaction with a staff member and teacher has been positive. They LOVED our babies and treasure their hearts and their minds. We have been able to witness the intellectual growth of our children who have been directly impacted by the caregivers here. Our last baby started at Carpe at 12 weeks and will complete Carpe Kinder this May. We have experienced every age stage and again, cannot say enough. We have less than a month left until we graduate to public kinder and although we are sad to leave this wonderful school, we are happy to have Carpe as part of our story.”

She has learned to sign, and is showing what a smart little girl she is. She’s been going there for 5 months now, and I expect we will keep her there through pre-school. “Clean, modern, friendly and overall a safe environment for my children. We've gone to this preschool for a couple years and are overall very happy. Infant care teachers seem to have been with the center for 5-7 years and curriculum director has been with center for 7 years. Teachers are friendly and caring.
