Ollie's Country Cottage

Hello,
This Friday morning I attended a mens Bible study at Waypoint which I was invited to by a friend who attends.
A large group of men were in attendance and were very welcoming and friendly to me.
The leader and church Pastor-Shannon was well prepared for his teaching and genuinely opened up some profound insights I had not known.
Many of the men took an opportunity to speak and there was a sense of open communication and depth of heartfelt sharing I have not experienced in many years. I was genuinely moved by the experience.

I decided to visit again this Sunday for worship service. It was my first visit to the main sanctuary.
I was warmly greeted and welcomed at the door. The church is a pretty, airy and comfortable environment. There was a noteworthy upbeat attitude and people were very friendly to me which I appreciated. A really nice musical presentation of both Gospel (which is a favorite of mine) and and a more modern Christian song followed by a guest minister of international renoun (as I understand) took the stage to deliver a message from the Bible that was both interesting and more importantly to me was inspiring. Then a bit more music and a prayer from Waypoint's Pastor-Shannon who had lead the men's Bible study I wrote about earlier.
Afterward there was a Baptism of one of the gentlemen also from the men's study which everyone enthusiastily attended.
I would easily say anyone considering a comfortable place to worship with friendly local families both young and old and even with young children would find a comfortable, positive and even inspirational experience here.

I have been attending church here remotely and the services are almost like being there. The music leader, the kids coordinator and Pastor are each excellent in their respective roles, I get such a lift from singing, praying and learning with my California family (even though I am eight time zones away) during this difficult time. #2020sucks

Whenever not booked this is where I will be staying when in this area.
From the first conversation to the thank you card after my stay nothing but delight. Now let’s talk about my stay. I haven’t had a more relaxing weekend in sometime. The cottage is clean clean clean and has everything you’ll need to have a more than comfortable stay. Nice and cool and everything worked. I sat most the time outside and enjoyed the front area. I could so live here ha ha ha !!
Now my two frenchies Hazel and Eloise gave a eight paws up to their accommodations, clean, cool everything set up for them a comfortable stay. Was so nice being able to have my pups staying with me.
Also I stay most of my visits in private vacays and this one is top notch also the owners are so helpful and sweet but don’t intrude on you relaxing but are there if you need them.
Would recommend this amazing gem to anyone!!!!!

I love this place! My girlfriends and I try to get out here once a year. It is so peaceful and the owners are amazing. Perfect to stay at I'd you're seeing a concert at Whitewater or Gruene Hall. Wimberly, New Braunfels, and Canyon Lake are all within a 20 minute country drive. I highly recommend!!!
