Natural Bridge Caverns

Great hike through a living cave! Lots of formations to help kids understand more of their geology. Then ropes course with zip lines above ground for fun. Decent food and cold water at the snack stands. I recommend going early in the hot months and making reservations ahead of time online. Great family memories were made!

Beautiful and amazing caverns (caves) with calcite formations. Once inside, one is in awe of the beauty of nature... Amazingly beautiful sights that seem unreal. It is a must visit place!

PS:
Requires some amount of walking and climbing down and up.
Tours are managed well and in small groups so you get to hear the tour guide tell you about the cave systems (a must hear)
Zip line course for kids within the premises. Kids love it
Food, beer and souvenir shops inside

The Natural Bridge Caverns was a great family place. The caves are a little strenuous to tour, but they do not rush you. The other activities were a fun way to pass the time between tours. Definitely buy your tickets before if you can, the tickets at the door were $5 more per ticket. Over all it was a great stop on our vacation.

Worth the price of admission. Why you ask? Well let me tell you.

The cavern is absolutely amazing and most likely very difficult to find anywhere else in the world.

The zip line structure is well built and safe for all age children. Our 7 year old is a little guy (44") and did fine on all of the equipment.

The maze was fun as well.

Definitely worth a day of your family's life.

Well worth a trip. I just hope you can visit when the park isn’t so busy as it was on Saturday 3rd October 2020. I enjoyed the tour and especially the caves. Also enjoyed the park - the mineral hunting was a lot of fun and my boy was excited finding fossils minerals.
BUT
I was very very unhappy with the lack of social distancing. The owners need to be more aware. A mine tour on Saturday afternoon (3:50) was maybe 30 people. Not at all acceptable. I was very angry. The Texas State ought to be policing how businesses operate.

I was also unhappy at the quality of the information provided by the tour guide. There should be more effort to provide basic - high school level information. The tour was not serious enough in my opinion.
