“The breakfast burritos are huge. The small ones are very well stuffed. You can tell they love what They do. There salsas are delicious. They have many other options to choose from. We always get several on our way back home. When it's close, we get really sad. It was a slight long line. About 10 or 12 men in front of us. It took about 20 minutes to get our food put; it was worse it. You can call ahead and order ,so you don't have to wait like we did. I took a picture of the number and is on my contacts now. Not waiting in line anymore 😉”

“I saw this place on Texas Bucket list and was driving from San Antonio to Austin, so had to stop in because Shane has never let me down. Was a nice surprise, there was a good country band playing and the atmosphere was awesome! Whether you want to sit inside, outside, or open air covered, this place is for you. Can tell it’s a local place and hidden gem. The burger was very good, but they are not playin around with that chicken sandwich. I also loved the onion rings! Caught a glimpse of some fried mushrooms that had my mouth watering. My server Mari was absolutely amazing also. As they say, well worth a stop on the Texas bucket list! Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains! I highly recommend this place.”

“Experienced both dine in, and takeout, while visiting the area last weekend. Tried just about everything on the menu, had a large group there, and it was all very tasty. Prices are a little on the high side, but pretty much everything is these days. Good DJ and bands throughout the night, and good nice Cornhole setups to enjoy as well. Takeout orders to quite a while to get out to us, but understand their staffing shortages. Will definitely go back, if in the area again...so I can try their breakfast!!”

“I’ve driven down Hunter Rd most of my life & took notice a few years back that this place has been done up. Finally decided to try it and I’m glad I did. I’m a huge fan of eating Fried, grilled or blackened catfish. I was blown away by the taste and texture of their Catfish. It was the Best yet, that I have eaten. My husband who isn’t a fan of Catfish at all, was also blown away by a forced taste test. Turned out he ended up eating half of it. That should speak volumes to how good it is. It was served over white sticky rice and I had the etouffe on the side. I will say I’m more of a rice pilaf gal, however the white rice actually balanced out the taste and the heat of the Cajun blackened catfish. Since it was our first time here, My husband ordered the hamburger to play it safe. He said it was good, but agreed he was impressed w/the Catfish. The overall ambiance of the location is very very casual and feels as if your in your own backyard. We went in and it was just the chef & waiter working. The waiter was a young HS student, however he was very attentive and pleasant to just have a casual conversation with as we ate. As it was w/the Chef, who went on to explain why the catfish we ate was delicious. He explained It was a Yellow catfish, which obviously makes a Huge difference in taste. For dessert we had their banana pudding and it was delicious. I took half of it home to let my picky daughter try it. She gobbled it right up and left the bowl clean. We are definitely going back. Maybe will try the King Crab legs or Aligator😋”

“I have been meaning to try this cafe but couldn’t quite get the timing right (open for lunch on weekdays only). It was worth the wait. Gruene offers bbq, chicken fried steak and so many other tasty Texan dishes that tend to expand the waste. Naturally cafe comes to the rescue offering colorful, healthy, and tasty dishes for vegans, carnivores, gluten sensitive, and other selective eaters. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich with vegan bacon on gluten free bread. The bread was surprisingly tasty (not dry or chewy as I’ve found with some gluten free breads). I also sampled the antioxidant bomb and enjoyed - very balanced savory with a bit of sweet. The decor is bright and colorful. Every corner is oozing with joy and charm. I will be back, but I only wish they were open beyond lunch.”

“What a great menu! Great service and an amazing atmosphere with a totally cool layout. Now we went in November so we were totally comfortable. We got there on a Tuesday at 2 PM and still had to wait. I can’t believe what it would be like in season at moon! The jalapeño margarita was the BOMB! I can’t believe this drink isn’t everywhere. Cajun spice on the rim and fresh jalapeños in the drink. Supreme!”

“We have been here a few times and think it's a good option for our poke cravings. I think it's a little on the expensive side for the portions of their bowls. The scoops of meat are small in my opinion. They do offer a great variety of toppings tho. We also got some boba drinks. Prices wernt too bad. But the flavors seemed bland. Not sweet at all... don't know if they forgot to add sugar, but wish it was sweeter (in our opinion). And the person making it kept rubbing their nose and face, and doing something with their mouth...and continued making our drinks without washing their hands. We still paid for them (felt bad because they started getting busy), we took a few sips and didn't finish them 😔😬 Customer service was nice and welcoming. And place was kept clean.”

“My husband and I decided to try My Little Oven Pizza after reading Google reviews. If you blink, you will pass by it like we did. Thanks to Google Map, we found this quaint little Pizza joint. The owner was nice and explained how he makes the Pizza. We decided to have a Pizza with sausage, caramelized onions and fire roasted peppers. The Pizza tasted really good. The crust was prefect with a crunchy edge. The sauce was just perfect for us, not to rich. We also had a slice of Chocolate cake. We will come again the next time we come to Canyon Lake. I took some pictures of the signs on the road so you won't drive by it like we did.😁”

“We’ve been coming here for years. The drive from Austin is totally worth it. I love it in summer, sitting in lawn chairs with a cooler full of drinks and snacks.
