“Dream Away Cabin is a slice of heaven on Earth! The cabin itself is beautifully decorated. The moment you come in, it gives you that feeling of comfort where you’d say “I need to be here for awhile.” It is like that respite you have been needing is finally here! The bedsheets are so soft and comfy like a 5-star hotel beddings. You don’t want to get out of bed, but you also don’t want to miss out on the outside fun. My family and I enjoyed feeding the mob of deer daily and gazing at the stars at night. The fire pit and the hammock outside are a perfect addition too. We loved the patio area as well where we dined with family. We left with so many wonderful memories at the cabin. An added bonus, it is a walking distance from the lake. I love to get out there in the early morning for bridals and do some stunning sunset portraits on wedding days. I have always found the staff to be super helpful and kind. “I’ve been coming to Crystal since I moved from California three years ago (Don’t judge me-I hate that state), but since the first time she cut my hair, I knew she was the one. I’ve only had two barbers in my life before her. I’m very particular about who cuts my hair and she definitely made the cut. I highly recommend her. She’s professional, always on time if you book your spot on time. She’s not only my barber, but psychologist LOL what’s a barber if you can’t sit in the chair and have a down to earth conversation about life events and current affairs. She is very attention to detail oriented and as a former Marine, that is a major stinking point for me. GO CHECK HER OUT! She’s awesome and sweet!”

“This little place was a great find! Everything tasted homemade and was delicious! I especially loved the refried beans - reminded me of my childhood! It is a tad tough to get to if you’re headed northbound but worth the drive. Ordered takeout when we got to the parking lot and it took about 15 mins. Definitely call ahead or just eat in which we will be doing next time!”
