“Big Chief properties is wonderful to work with in planning vacations. We have used them several times and each experience has been wonderful. We stayed at the Comal Haus with our extended family, 10 adults and 8 kids, for thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed cooking and eating on the expansive porch and enjoying the beautiful view of the river. There was plenty of space for the family to relax and have our own space. We have also stayed at the Rapids house next door for a girls weekend and loved the fun vibe of the house. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed!”

Great lunch special of personal pizza and salad i had the Detroit deep dish pizza, Meatball shroom, really delicious. Had the bruschetta appetizer and it was good! Missed the balsamic sauce but our waiter found some and made it even better! Matthew was a great server and very polite! Very good experience. Will definitely go back. **just side note, to anyone with tree nut allergies, they add almonds to the garden salad. It is not mixed but it can be put on side or left out. I have a bad tree allergy so make sure to ask waiter/waitress abt cross contamination.”

I’m addicted to detoxifying (ie.sweat bomb) in the infrared sauna and I think the classes are great. You go “at your own best pace”. You schedule your classes on their app. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it!”

In the evening we took a short walk to a local venue for a Willie Nelson concert. The next day I was up early fly fishing and caught a monster trout. Only downside was the weekend wasn't long enough.
