Great park! Lots of beautiful land to explore. The bathrooms are decent and you can tell they clean them, however there is still mud and dead bugs that could have been wiped away while cleaning.
Very nice park to relax and hike. Don't forget to bring your camera to take pictures of a very beautiful lakeside view. It's very nice during sunset hours. I would recommend this place for people who love the outdoors and the beauty of being outside.
So underrated! Hard to believe this is so close to Dallas. The campsites were more than adequate. The restrooms were clean and conveniently located. Our favorite activity of our stay was to walk down to the lake shore at sunset and skip rocks. Too much recent rain prevented the trails from being open. But we are definitely planning a return trip!
