Signature Pointe On the Lake: Strickland Richard MD

Signature pointe has been nothing short of wonderful and very accommodating for my grandparents. I lost my grandmother while she was in SP and they were so kind and respectful and have really taken the next level of taking care of my now lonely grandfather. He looks forward to seeing Nancy, the Director of sales, as she always has a great smile on her face and keeps him company (and usually brings him a treat or two). Thank you to the lovely people of SP who have taken care of my family and given me peace of mind knowing they are in good hands.

After visiting several places, I really like this place. My mom spent 3 weeks in rehab and now in assisted living. Recovering from a stroke, Rehab helped her get her strength back to walk again. Therapists were very good and provided weekly status reports. Assisted Living manager is great and always available to offer advice and answer our questions. Nancy is great along with all of the front office staff.

My family met Dr. Strickland while our Mom was at Highland Springs. She was recovering from a broken femur. We came to rely on his judgement and advice. Dr. Strickland is very meticulous in reviewing patients, and draws on many years of experience. He treats the whole individual, and is very sensitive to emotional issues that impact recovery. We would see things that scared us ("Mom's right leg is swollen"). His reaction was calm and succinct ("Not a big deal--raise her legs and wear compression hose"), and we quickly saw improvements. You and your loved ones are in very good hands with Dr. Strickland.
