Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic - UT Southwestern

I have a rare side affect from a drug. I have Osteonecrosis of jaw. I sure wish I had found this place a few years ago when I was growing that dead bone out. I needed to be seen by a new oral surgeon. I went through 7 dental profesionals when I grew that dead bone out. Not all doctors want to truelly help you.
I went to this clinic this week. it was easy to find. free parking right next to it. I did not wait at all!! the reception people were bubbly and fun!! no attitude. waiting room was pleasant. exam room was huge. everyone was great there. they have a nice CT pano scanner...or I think thats what it was

Dr. Schlieve was very professional and listened to the medical condition that created most of the dental issues. I had a copy of the diagnosis from Baylor college of Dentistry and the staff scanned it into my record. This biopsy was done in 1996 and the Texas A&M folks emailed it to me. I find it hard to understand why other medical institutions cannot do the same. Just extremely irresponsible, since they have all the technology and don't use it to save patients records.

Both the dentist and oral surgeon were very patient and compassionate with my medically complex daughter. They consulted with her other physicians and provided excellent care.

Dr. Zuniga performed jaw surgery for my 14 year old daughter and we were really worried until we met Dr. Zuniga. He completely took time to explain the whole process to us and made sure we were really comfortable before and after surgery. The best experience with a doctor hands down!

Dr. Thomas Schlieve is such an amazing doctor. He truly cares about his patients and comes down to your level and explains everything to you clearly and makes sure you understand. I’ve never met a doctor like him who genuinely cares for his patients. He responded to my email on the same day even though it was a Sunday. I’m extremely and truly grateful that he took up my case by chance. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.
