(June 5, 2019, 6:47 pm)In my experience they often have beat their own estimates for repairs, and while they will point out other things that need fixing, they don't try to scare you into doing stuff you don't need. Once, they called to tell me a predicted major repair on my old car turned out to be relatively minor, when they could have skipped testing everything and charged me hundreds more. So I trust them.
