I needed cushions made for a chair and footstool I made and Mickael Zapata at The Leather Hospital got the job done from start to finish. Every aspect of the cushions needed to be created: the style, design, color, size, and thickness. Then came the many choices for types of leather and any designs in the leather. Mickael took all the time necessary to guide me through the whole process. I am very satisfied with the final product and plan on using him and The Leather Hospital in the future for big and small leather projects. They even do reupholstering with all fabrics! See that green chair in the background? It is going in soon for a fabric makeover.

High quality leather and stitching work! I had ten white, ultra-modern dining room chairs which, after a decade, were showing lots of wear on the pleather they came with. Mickael re-finished them in beautiful, genuine gray leather. I wasn't expecting them to come out looking this good! I initially drove out to the physical location, but it isn't necessary. Mickael will come to you to look at the furniture needing to be refinished, will present you with a binder of different leather finish options, and provide a quote. He picked up the chairs and delivered them when they were finished - very convenient if you don't have a truck. Great experience overall and I love my new chairs!!!

This place restored our 28 year old leather sofa in less than a week, and it looks just like new, feels great to sit in, and we couldn't be more pleased with the job, as well as the reasonable price. If you read the few reviews on here with low ratings, you can tell from them that the reviewers are just mad because the company's rep told them that their sofas were not worth fixing. Sounds like an honest opinion to me, and the low rating is ridiculous, vengeful. Check the pictures below- this is our 28 year-old leather sofa that was ripped & torn in many places, the cushions were sunken over 5 inches, all the cording on it was torn up, and the stuffing had leaked out of the rips in many places. One week after they picked up the sofa they called & said it was completed and....the sofa you see in the picture is what we got back. This company is the real deal, and we recommend them very, very highly.

Great customer service! Not gonna lie I was skeptical but my man pulled through--even ahead of the deadline he set for himself!! Who else does this??!!

The backpack in the picture was pretty wore from over the years. Wish I had a before picture because the middle interior and side had to be completely restitched with new matching leather. I went to a place in Dallas that quoted me at 2 months job. He did it in 13 days with a smile.

The Leather Hospital did an amazing job recovering my antique chaise. I looked for a long time to find an upholstery place which specialized in leather vs fabric. When I met Hernan & saw his work I was extremely impressed. He brought samples & help me select the right color. They also picked up & delivered all the way to Rockwall at no charge. Great business & a great guy.
