Power outages everywhere. Woke up freezing & hungry. Called & Tom Thumb was open! First time here & the place was buzzing with people. Starbucks, hot deli, nice wine selection but several shelves were bare. Sadly my neighborhood were only blocks over & my grocery stores had no power and people were standing outside in line!! It was 20 degrees!! I feel saddened for those freezing in their homes & hungry & had no means to get to Tom Thumb.
My neighborhood 75215 is considered a Food Desert less than a mile away!
Tom Thumb staff was fast, friendly & the atmosphere was inviting. Shame no one - grocery chains, mayor or City Council care enough about the people in 75215 or 75210.
The supervisor was able to help the DUMB customer service rep. Print a money order. I can say even though TOM THUMB might have a DUMB employee here and there. The supervisors are extremely professional clever and inventive and i can say they keep it 5 stars with the products and prices so fare.
This new Tom Thumb s the best!
Brand new spotlessly clean incredibly friendly staff and every department that I have shopped which has been all of them I have been incredibly impressed with. I also just started picking up my to go lunches from here because everything is delicious and of course really easy and I can pop by Starbucks on the way out the door???
Wish I could give even more stars! All staff went above and beyond, store was beautifully clean, and environment was spectacular. We are so excited to have this store in our neighborhood; will be back soon for the stocked salad bar! An overall perfect experience, but one employee deserves a special shout out. Landon, one of the greeters, saw that my wife and I were struggling because we wanted to visit the store but had our dog with us. Without skipping a beat, he offered to watch our dog and welcomed us to the store. When we came back out he was so kind and thanked us multiple times for coming to Tom Thumb. A spectacular employee, really setting the tone for a great grocery experience.
