R+D Kitchen

This place is my boss' favorite. He took us here for lunch and I can see why he likes it so much! The food was of course delicious. I ordered the carnitas sandwich. My boss ordered the Chicken Meatball Spaghetti but often gets their tuna sandwich. My other coworkers ordered the sushi and the spaghetti. The menu is short but the items are on it are great, you can't go wrong. The service was so friendly and well-paced. The atmosphere is very nice and well-to-do. We had a great experience.

Lovely atmosphere, incredibly friendly and attentive staff (especially our server Jordan), delicious food.

However, I am a sushi lover and have had it from almost every place in Dallas that offers the delicacy. Last night I ordered the nigiri plate and the rainbow roll from r+d and was disappointed in how thinly they slice their fish in comparison to other sushi vendors. It feels as though they are trying to conserve their fish inventory, but at the same time charge about double what you'd be charged elsewhere. The fish was yummy and fresh, but I was really hoping for thicker slices and less rice.

One of my favorite go to restaurants. Simple menu but great portions for lunch or a lite dinner. I’m actually writing this review because I was there last night for dinner. If you are fearful of Covid DO NOT go there. They are social distancing at the bar which they weren’t prior. That’s good. They now leave two seats between parties but the restaurant was packed inside and out at tables!! We were shocked. The people at the next table were very close. When we spoke with the wait staff about our concern they said they are at 75% capacity. We only saw two open tables. No way are they only seating 75%. We felt unsafe and left through the side door.

My favorite restaurant!! The service is excellent, the margaritas are amazing and the food is spectacular! I have literally gotten so many of my family and friend hooked on this place! Everything on the menu is truly delicious. The deviled eggs, the sushi and the fries with the spicy mayo...so good! Don't leave without enjoying the ice cream sundae!

It's back!!!! Please never remove the pulled pork sandwich again. Everything this restaurant offers is amazing. R+D is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Dallas. P.S. the dip duo is a must have.
