  My son needed help fast with a report (he procrastinated of course!). We came in and the librarians were so helpful and supportive! They helped us find everything we needed from books to online help! Very much appreciate the wonderful staff here!

  I love this library. It has lots of books to pick from, if not you can order and picm them up later. The staff is always friendly and ready to help!. But what I really like is that it has a lot of computer's so you don't really have to wait unlike skyline library. Good place to take the kids when low on money. Plus we get done with the school reading log pretty quick.????????

  It's a nice place to bring the kids during their summer vacation and the employees are nice and you can ask questions which they will try their best to answer.

  The Pleasant Grove branch is located 3/4 mile west of S. Buckner Blvd. on Lake June Rd., about halfway between 175 and Buckner.
  
  The library is large and very well signed so there's no chance of missing it. The library faces away from the street so the front entrance opens to the expansive back parking lot.
  
  The library has a pretty impressive foyer with a vaulted ceiling, lots of light & space, and some nice colorful tile artwork as you enter the building. Two large meeting rooms ahead and to the right (The larger holds 200+); the library proper to your left.
  
  As I entered, my first impression was of space. Wasted space, actually. There's a good 25' of open carpet before the computer workstations begin; 21 full use PCs, two more reserved for job hunting.
  
  The adult book section is fair sized, but the availability of adult fiction books is not proportionate to the building size. A lot of the shelves look half empty. Hopefully this is a sign of room for expansion, not a sign of contraction.
  
  The Patterson factor is 75. That's the number of books by James Patterson the library had checked in. (Yes I counted.) For comparison there were only 1 ea. by award winning, best selling authors William Gibson and Neal Stephenson. This frustrates me. Variety!
  
  There's quite a bit of hang out room with lots of comfy chairs and some tables to sit at. The reading area is next to the children's area so it can get a bit loud.
  
  There are two nice (but purposefully isolated i.e. quiet) study rooms, each holds up to eight people.
  
  The bathrooms are comfortably expansive, super clean and well supplied. They even have an interesting tile pattern.
  
  Overall a very good library in the DPL system. It's even worth the trip if you live outside of Pleasant Grove.

  I cam here to help my nephew with his homework and after I began playing chess by myself and I had a great conversation with Jeremy the attendant at the front desk about chess and he is a great guy and was a great help. He directed me to Ms Courtney the head librarian about starting a chess program. She gave me wonderful information on what we can do and she also said she plays chess as well which had me on edge lol. At the end of it all things were awesome here and I recommend to all that u visit this place and if u do visit for chess tell them the chess player Victor sent you.
