Hunnicutt's Cafe

Today was my first time eating here and I was told I would not be disappointed. Sure enough I most definitely was not disappointed by a long shot. I ordered the stuffed turkey leg and it was soooooooooooo delicious. I will definitely be back!

It's the Whole Restaurant for! The food is Awesome and Delicious! The Owner's and Staff are very Nice and have Good Hospitality.

Five of us went for lunch after mass at St Anthony's Catholic Church. Portions were generous, food was tasty and well seasoned. All of us enjoyed our meals.

Meats were oxtails, turkey legs, smothered pork chops, Salisbury steak, tripe and neck bones. There may have been another meat, but I was overwhelmed with the number of choices. There was also dressing, mac and cheese, collard greens, sweet potatoes, steamed corn, string beans, broccoli casserole, white rice, cornbread and probably a couple of other things. For dessert, there was chocolate cake and honeybun cake. I had no room for dessert, but I got a piece of honeybun cake to go.

Initially, we went to Sabrina's Kitchen, where the food also looked good, but it's only take out. We were disappointed, but Sabrina suggested we eat at her friends' cafe, Hunnicutt's Cafe on Botham Jean.

Before we left, the owners came over, welcomed us and encouraged us to come again. I think we will.

The food was delicious! My family and I enjoyed it. The oxtails, turkeys wings, greens, cabbage, mashed potatoes w gravy and Mac and cheese was all on point! Customer service was good and cleanliness. We’ll be eating here again. The lady serving said if you want anything fried like catfish/chicken to call ahead bc they cook it fresh and takes about 20 minutes. You can dine in or carry out. We will definitely be eating here again! Good food for the soul!
