(April 22, 2019, 11:15 am)I've tried the chicken salad and it's good. The real kicker is the catfish fillets. I wouldn't have suspected this place would have good catfish. It's better than some restaurants! A convenience store with food this good? People, it's no joke and all talk. This place should not be overlooked. The parking is terrible. But, keep in mind, this is a neighborhood convenience store. I recommend you call ahead. But, if you have time to wait, you won't be disappointed.

(October 4, 2018, 6:48 am)I love the chicken salad...I walk all the way down to Big Daddy's for their chicken salad. The serving size is huge. The large is enough to feed 3 adults. The only problem I have at the restaurant portion of the store is the attitude I get, but I am one of the few white customers and having lived in South Dallas for some years now I'm used to it. The grocery store employees are always nice and helpful. This store is farther away from me than Emily Grocery, but I don't mind the walk because it's a much more pleasant experience. At least they treat me like a human!
