  I've tried the chicken salad and it's good. The real kicker is the catfish fillets. I wouldn't have suspected this place would have good catfish. It's better than some restaurants! A convenience store with food this good? People, it's no joke and all talk. This place should not be overlooked. The parking is terrible. But, keep in mind, this is a neighborhood convenience store. I recommend you call ahead. But, if you have time to wait, you won't be disappointed.

  I just know of their chicken salad and I looovvveeee it. Nice and friendly people there and u got to know the food is good tho cause it be a line of people. But we don't mind the wait it don't be long. They NEED to put a store in redbird. ????????????

  I love the chicken salad...I walk all the way down to Big Daddy's for their chicken salad. The serving size is huge. The large is enough to feed 3 adults. The only problem I have at the restaurant portion of the store is the attitude I get, but I am one of the few white customers and having lived in South Dallas for some years now I'm used to it. The grocery store employees are always nice and helpful. This store is farther away from me than Emily Grocery, but I don't mind the walk because it's a much more pleasant experience. At least they treat me like a human!
