“Don't waste your money at the grocery store if you are looking for oxtails. I bought a little over 4 lbs of pre-cut oxtail for $18. They cut it up for me with no additional charge. Same cut at the grocery store will be priced in the upper 20's or low 30's. Good place - don't mind the neighborhood.”

“Aunt Irene’s is the best kept secret in Texas! The food is flavorful and the prices are affordable for excellent seafood. The portions are enough for two. This restaurant is nestled in the heart of Fair Park. The large lobster black box meal was amazing! If you don’t like spicy food, you might want to ask to cut down in the spicy. The fish and wings box was very good as well. I love the fried shrimp cooked with corn meal. You have to give this place a try. Parking is on the back side and being expanded. This place can get crowed, so pick the time of your visit wisely.”
