Carbone's

I was able to go to Carbone’s with my mom when I was visiting from out of state. We went last summer when I was in town, as well. We have had excellent food and service, as well as a visit to our table from the owner on both occasions, which really adds an “above and beyond “ touch. I would recommend dining there to locals and out-of-towners alike.

They also work with local farmers and I’ve noticed they choose some of the finest, fresh ingredients.

Always a relaxing treat to dine there. I like it for lunch as well and it’s located on the cusp of Highland Park and North Oak Lawn Ave., across from Al Biernat’s. So location is hard to beat.

Absolutely phenomenal food and wine. Don't trust the photos. This place has plenty of room and I can't come back fast enough. Every dish was a bit from first generation Italians.

Carbone's is seriously one of my favorite spots to eat. So much so that I even choose Carbone's to go to for my birthday. My wife and I go there quite often and the food and service is always the same, spectacular. The wine selection is incredible. The food is consistent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We even considered having our wedding reception here. We love it that much. This place is a gem.
