“Really not understanding where all of these negative reviews are coming from. I have struggled my entire life with my mental issues...serious anger issues, bipolar, severe anxiety especially socially, borderline autism...I could go on. Doctors told my parents I would be a serial killer when I was a young child. I have seen so many doctors of different kinds in the dfw to help with my mental issues it’s unreal. I have also been to treatment centers and mental hospitals. No one on God’s green earth EVER compared to doctor young. He is the only one who ever understood me and was willing to work with me. He has a very interesting personality and isn’t what you would consider normal. So if you’re expecting the pastor from your church to be your addiction psychiatrist, then yes look elsewhere. Also understand that he is a psychiatrist not a therapist. He will talk with you about your issues and give advice but only to a certain extent! He will give you things like medications to help you with your problems. The lady who has worked the front desk since summer 2017 is so kind and amazing and she also gives amazing advice and helps in any way possible. He also has an emergency line to call for help after hours and he definitely answers or will return calls. He is an amazing doctor with an amazing practice. Don’t let anyone tell you differently especially based on their unreal expectations. HIGHLY recommended. 100 stars. Yes...one hundred! I wouldn’t be here without his help!”

“Always loved seeing Dr. Patel. He was one of my favorite specialists. I had severe shoulder pain but when I saw him the 1st time; pain was gone the minute he injected my shoulder. This had not happened with another doctor I saw. Plus no pain with Dr. Patel's shot and the 1st doctor had tortured me with the one he gave. My pain mgnt doctor referred me to an orthopedic surgeon and honestly I was in excruciating pain and didn't realize Dr. Patel might have been able to do my surgery. I haven"t seen Dr. Patel now for several years and I can't find him. I called the number here and they said he was no longer there-gave me a number. I've called several times and left a msg with no response. Hope he's okay.”
