“My husband and I have been here for almost two years and we’ve loved it. Great location and such a quiet little community. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance is always on top of requests and takes care of them within two days. There are occasional water shut offs for a few hours but it doesn’t bother me. We have been very fortunate to find a complex such as this one!”

“We’ve been living here for almost a year and we recently moved from a one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom apartment. We love it here!! The administration staff is wonderful. The assistant manager, Lilly, helped us through the whole process of transferring and she made it so smooth, quick and accommodating. The premises are clean and quiet. I will recommend this apartment complex to anyone.”

“I have been a tenant for several years due to the great location, customer-friendly staff and attentive maintenance. I never comment on anything! But the kindness of the maintenance team particularly Leandro, moves me to leave a review. Along with their timely attention to maintenance issues, even the emergency late night weekend ones over the years which is their responsibility, they must be commended on how often they have a willingness to take on issues that it could be argued, do not necessarily fall into their job description. I recently had to make 2 such requests within 24 hours. I am thankful for the service they provide at this apartment community.”

“Have to say this is my absolute favorite Dallas apartment so far. I have lived in the same neighborhood for 5 years, first in a very old condo and then in the brand new apartments down the road. This one takes the cake. Reading the other reviews it seems like people were not prepared to live in an older community. So let me be clear - THIS BUILDING IS OLD. It was rehabbed and now has a nice interior but it is still old. The cockroaches do occasionally get in, but the community is good at spraying for them. And to be honest the giant ones live outside and migrate inside (for me at an average rate of two per year) FOR EVERY SINGLE DALLAS APARTMENT in this area. Regardless of how much you clean/bleach things. This was a shock to me at first being from the North so I get it but I recommend getting a cat if it bothers you that much. As for the community itself, very quiet. Nice mix of young families, retired people and professionals. Minimal college kids. A ton of beautiful, mature trees inside and outside the community that make it nice and shady. Very safe, walk-able neighborhood. A lot of people have dogs and they allow large dogs which is nice. For the amount of dogs I see at the Newport, there is very, very little dog waste lying around, especially compared to previous communities. Packages do not go missing and they are delivered to your unit as expected instead of going to a leasing office with inconvenient hours (like at other communities). Covered parking is always available in the gated lot. The manager, Maria, is very kind and quick to respond to emails. My two complaints are: #1 my unit was a little drafty with this winter being so cold. But again, OLD BUILDING. So you get what you expect. #2 you have to pay your rent physically by check with no online payment option. And this is hard for me because I am lazy and prefer autopay options.”

“I just moved in this month. I have had no issues with the apartment or the office staff. Everyone in the office was really nice and extremely helpful. The blinds were a little broken, but other than that - my apartment is great. I love my new neighbors and my new place. :-) My only complaint is that I would like for the downstairs restrooms to be open & for the penthouse to be open for when visitors come over.”
