“We decided to try this place out because we hadn't eaten all day. Got the vegetarian and and big brother slice. THIS is what I always want on a vegetarian pizza. Every time I try to get a vegetarian pizza anywhere else, its still mostly cheese with sprinkles of some veggies. But this actually gave me the crunch I was looking for. A nice big bite of veggies. The pizza was great, it was delicious for sure but the cherry on top was when an employee saw us eating outside and gave us a couple of cold water bottles! It was such a nice gesture. It won us over for sure!! Thank you guys so much for the hospitality! We will be returning for sure.”

“Recently moved here from NYC and I was afraid I wouldn't find good pizza... glad to know the fear was unwarranted as Pie Tap proved me wrong. Had several pies that night with a couple of friends, one was a regular pepperoni pie, another was prosciutto with arugula, and the last was a BBQ chicken pie. Each one came out to perfection. All three had a thin crust, great quality cheese, and top of the line ingredients. The staff was also friendly and attentive. Our waitress struck a conversation with us and gave recommendations on pairings. We also asked her about the area around us and she was happy to give us suggestions. There was plenty of room between all the tables and the employees wore mask. A very enjoyable night at a great establishment.”

I ordered 25 (lengua,pastor,asada)tacos, AT LUNCH TIME ... NO PROBLEM ! ! They had them ready in record time with amazing customer service and quality food only a family operated restaurant can offer !! After walking out of a GAS STATION with my dinner , how surprised was I, when I opened the box , to find each and every taco OVERSTUFFED with fresh , perfectly seasoned, prime cut meat !!! I usually stay away from “pastor” bc it gets dried out fast and way too salty instead of seasoned...NOT HERE !!! Listen y’all , I’m not only taco-club member , I’m also the PRESIDENT; I GREW UP IN MEXICO !!! !! I was eating”street tacos”in a place where we just called them “tacos”!!! ...Yes, I do have a little resentment with gringos taking over a food and renaming it … You can’t call them”street tacos” until you are STANDING IN THE STREET at midnight and have a drunk guy passed out to your right and a stray dog begging at your feet ... I digress ... It’s not often that I find Mexican food that’s better than Mexico!! !!!! I actually wanted to call them and ask how they put so much meat into the taco ... I usually only review places when I’m angry and wish I could only give them 1/2 a star or ZERO ... I would like to give El Charrito 10,000 stars , for keeping the dream alive , for outstanding food with kind efficient and phenomenal customer service and for the 10,000 calories I plan on consuming there !
