“I actually went to this school I have to say 4 years ago I am actually going to high school now I went to Martinez from prek through 5th grade and I have to say my class when we left most of us went to a magnet school.I just left my middle school this past year and I wouldn't have made it into Desa if it wasn't for this school. I actually wouldn't be going townview either the staff there was great. Especially the principal from when I was there Mrs.Rosa Linda Peña. My grandmother worked at that school as the office manager and when she passed away in 2011 the school was devastated they still have her picture up on the wall wearing the purple shirt we still have. The staff that was there at the time actually visited her at the hospital that is how close the bond that the staff had there.”

“I must say I hate that my kids has to leave do to our recent move I wish they could’ve packed and came with us, their infant room is awesome ???????? my child motor skills has approved so much and he really loved them so did I, their toddler room is great ???????? when I dropped my son off he would run right into his teacher arms just happy to see her it made me feel good and I love the way they were actually teaching my kid he is only 2 and can count sing abc’s make a complete sentence name animals and they even sent homework home it’s a great place to have your kids they have parties ???? and even family nights very nice daycare if I ever move back in the area my kids will most definitely go here.”

“Great curriculum and loving teachers. Would give 5 stars however the staff and parents can be very dismissive if you're not a "regular". By that I mean a volunteer or a sponsor. Not every family that attend the school is rich and can spend every waking moment you have there... aside from that I love how their teachers are very attentive, patient, loving and caring towards the children... again the school consist of very education and rich families which also means their children have been prepared for school since they could talk. Because of this the children who are overflowed into the school or that live in the apartments that feed into the school are overlooked and don't matter. If there's any program of any sort you can guarantee that all of the leads, solos and speaking parts go to those privileged children... there is bullying that goes on and that seems to be overlooked as well. When my daughter's first started going to the school 3 years ago, her hair was cut buy another child and she received an apology letter from the girl.. can't imagine how that would've played out of my little black child cut the little rich white girl hair. But hey, the curriculum is great, the teachers are AMAZING and it's the best option I have for my children to get a good free education.”
