“The school is newly renovated with plans for another building. The principal is fair and just and loves the kids and teachers. The priest visits the classroom and his homilies are perfect for children. They have financial aid if you need it. Está escuela es una de las mejores de Dallas! No se pierda su oportunidad.”

“Our daughters have attended a few schools in Texas, private and public. This has by far been the best school academically accommodating for our daughters' special needs and welcoming in parent and student involvement. So far we have been very pleased. Definitely the best DISD public school without question. They are continuously focused on making this school a 10/10.”

“Edison is an amazing school I had a great year. Yeah we had our ups and downs like our ceiling and the rodents but we keep our cool. Honestly if you ever step foot in Edison you wouldn't even know about our ceiling or our rodent situation cause there are so many smiles and love that we share cause others treat us like minorities instead of being apart of the group so I stand with Edison and I'll show my eagle pride cause I'm rooting for T.A.E”

“I’m very pleased with KIPP Truth Academy. It is a great choice for a free quality education if you can not afford a private school. My two children attended and they are doing great. My son is currently in his last year at KIPP. He was recently accepted by 4 of the best high schools in Texas, three are private and one is a magnet school. I want to thank Ms Torres for her help during the entire application process. The principal and all of the teachers have been extremely caring and supportive. KIPP now has now opened their own high school and I wish them the best. After KIPP, my daughter was accepted by a magnet high school in Dallas and is currently enrolled in a private university of her choice in San Antonio, TX. All I can say is that they care about their students’ dreams and ambitions and will always be there to help them. Thank you KIPP Truth Academy.”

“Administration are helpful with enrollment. Teachers are pleasant to be around. Personally, I like the small ratio and attention my children get from their teachers. My children are allowed recess whereas, in public school, they did not. That makes a huge difference because, most behavior problems, in the classroom, steams from hyperactivity. My children are excited to attend SMC and express their love for GOD. They attended public school and we did not like the culture. (Students are highly stressed and are pressured into testing for the gains of the district.) We have witnessed student's enthusiasm for education diminish. SMC gives my children happiness and we like that SMC gives them a place to learn about their faith along with academics.”

“I am a 7th grade student at Saint Patrick School. And I have to say it is a really good school full of opportunities. electives and classes to excel at. However, the subject material is very hard to learn due to some teachers overcomplicating certain instructions. And it’s very hard for me to comprehend to understand the instruction on how to do stuff. And also 6-7th grade is.a huge gap the curriculum is 10 times harder and it’s hard for me to complete my work. 6th Grade doesn’t really prepare your for the work you are about to do. The safety protocols are a bit intrusive ie: locking the doors every-time you are in a class Other than these listed above Saint Patrick’s is a great school for you to be successful.”

“My son was cared for at home until just recently. I researched a few other daycares in the area but decided on Apple Tree. I have no regrets. I love the way my son is blossoming in his social skills and vocabulary and his behavior is getting better in general. The staff here is so nice and communicative. Ms. Sunshine the director is so great. I highly recommend Apple Tree if you are looking for a daycare in this area.”

“Ms. Hernandez is wonderful with a big heart for early childhood education. We have been here since they first opened and have loved watching our daughter really open up and learning both Spanish and English. Ms. Diaz is one of our favorite teachers and both our girls love the school here. They have lots of learning centers including music and art. I always enjoy getting to see what new creations they bring home. The gated entrance is nice because the surrounding neighborhood is still mostly commercial buildings. But if you live in or around Oak Cliff this location is super convenient. I highly recommend Yorktown.”

“One of the best studios in DFW for small to medium group classes and especially private lessons. Therapeutic and individualized practice is emphasized here. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and compassionate. Classes are held without loud music or gimmicks of any sort. This is a place to study yoga and personal transformation rather than simply go through the motions and get sweaty. Highly recommended!”
