“One of my tires blew on the way to work last night around 10pm (I work overnights). It happened right before the exit this shop is on. I pulled in and prayed someone was still there. The men outside were clearly getting ready to leave but one of them saw my tire and was happy to help me. He got a new (used) tire and changed it for me. He never seemed annoyed or impatient with me even though I knew he was ready to go. When he finished with the tire, he told me that they dont take credit cards. Well I dont carry cash usually so I had to go to the corner store a few doors down to get some. He told me he'd walk me over there because it's not a safe area. After handing him the money, he asked me to wait for him to finish his purchase so he could walk me back. I definitely appreciated this as I was freaked out by being in that area so late. I was so shaken up about the whole situation that I forgot to ask for his name but I'm grateful that he helped me when he really didnt have to.”
