“June '19 reminder... *there is no "Taco Stand"*, just a Rusty Taco (or "R Taco" as it is now called). Google Maps won't remove the duplication so some continue to post here, but most of the reviews are on Rusty Taco... which is great! This Google Maps "place" is a duplicate of the R Taco immediately adjacent on the map. If you want a review, look there.”

“This place is a great healthy way to start your day. The hours is pretty inexpensive and good for you. It was so good that we can't back twice out of the three mornings that we were there. If definitely recommended it as a good start to the day. Didn't eat lunch or dinner but the menu looked appetizing and healthy. There is ample seating and outdoor seating as well. Two thumbs up.”

“Great service from Iris! She came with great energy and a sincere smile. You could tell that she really wanted us to leave the restaurant feeling like we had a unique, wonderful experience. Food was phenomenal as well! We traveled from VA and knew we wanted top shelf Mexican food and we were not disappointed. “Have to say this is my absolute favorite Dallas apartment so far. I have lived in the same neighborhood for 5 years, first in a very old condo and then in the brand new apartments down the road. This one takes the cake. Reading the other reviews it seems like people were not prepared to live in an older community. So let me be clear - THIS BUILDING IS OLD. It was rehabbed and now has a nice interior but it is still old. The cockroaches do occasionally get in, but the community is good at spraying for them. And to be honest the giant ones live outside and migrate inside (for me at an average rate of two per year) FOR EVERY SINGLE DALLAS APARTMENT in this area. Regardless of how much you clean/bleach things. This was a shock to me at first being from the North so I get it but I recommend getting a cat if it bothers you that much. As for the community itself, very quiet. Nice mix of young families, retired people and professionals. Minimal college kids. A ton of beautiful, mature trees inside and outside the community that make it nice and shady. Very safe, walk-able neighborhood. A lot of people have dogs and they allow large dogs which is nice. For the amount of dogs I see at the Newport, there is very, very little dog waste lying around, especially compared to previous communities. Packages do not go missing and they are delivered to your unit as expected instead of going to a leasing office with inconvenient hours (like at other communities). Covered parking is always available in the gated lot. The manager, Maria, is very kind and quick to respond to emails. My two complaints are: #1 my unit was a little drafty with this winter being so cold. But again, OLD BUILDING. So you get what you expect. #2 you have to pay your rent physically by check with no online payment option. And this is hard for me because I am lazy and prefer autopay options.”

“This is a beautiful place. I was with my great nieces 1st grade class. Staff members were all friendly and informative. They have a concerts in the summer on Thursday's evenings. You can bring a cooler, lawn chairs, and sit outside under the stars and enjoy the music. They are very organized, everything flowed smoothly. It was wonderful!”

“We stopped here for lunch today. It was a lovely place and all the servers were very attentive. The chicken salad was delicious as was the 3 tea sandwich taster plate. We loved the lemon cake with a touch or strawberry sauce. Will definitely go again next time!”
