“FROM HORRIBLE TO EXCELLENT- I received a message in the middle of the night from my cousin who is at Parkland. She was very upset and asked that I please come right away. My cousin went on to state that her attending nurse had laughed in her face when she explained that the medication she was given was too strong and made her feel worse. I got there as quickly as I could and immediately spoke to the Charge Nurse “Miss Nonny” (8th floor New Edition). I addressed my concerns and she immediately apologized to my cousin for what had occurred, explained in detail why she was given the medication that she was given, and assured her that she couldn’t be in better hands. Ms. Nonny’s kindness and understanding was all my cousin needed. Within minutes my cousin dowsed off and all was well. Thank you Miss Nonny for your kindness and immediate concern.
