Taqueria Dos Gordos

Great Mexican food. Good price. Only open for breakfast / lunch hours. Has good breakfast tacos as well as the rest of the menu. Only downside it is located in a dingy gas station but off to one end. I probably would have never stopped in to get food if it wasn't for my Latino friends that recommended it.

I've been in Dallas only a few years and all that time I've been searching for a consistently delicious Mexican restaurant in my neighborhood. I finally found it at Dos Gordos. The ladies behind this hole-in-the wall eatery obviously take pride in their food, and it shows... or should I say 'it tastes'!! I've sampled quite a few different items, and have loved all of them. My favorite are the chicken tacos and burritos.

That said, don't come here for the 'ambiance', unless you're looking for that reasonable-priced, eatery inside a convenience store vibe. While the ladies are always friendly and welcoming, sometimes there can be a small wait during busier times. However, that time investment will be richly rewarded with your first bite: Simply delicious!
