Very experienced, knowledgeable doctor. Been going since I was 5, medicine works everytime.
Best doctor ever!! His prices are very low to help out people that doesn’t have medical insurance. He helped me with the stomach Flu, Thank you Dr. Hieu
Dr. Truong is a well known fixture in the immigrant community for many years as a Dr. who really cares for the poorest of the poor. Typically, the people who see him have no insurance and are low income, so there's no need for him to accept any form of insurance.
He often hands out samples because he knows that sometimes the medications his patient needs can be so expensive they won't bother to fill the Rx.
He will refer his patients to free or low cost programs for services he does not perform in house such as for women to get mammograms, he refers those who are eligible to government programs they may qualify for.
True his office isn't fancy or computerized, his office visit fees of $45.00 (the last time I checked) reflect that. If a person needs lab-work done, Dr, Truong simply asks the patient to pay upfront what the lab charges him rather than mark it up and re-sell it to his patients like those the other Doctors do.
The records referred to in the other review are not out in the open they are alpha/color coded and all away from the front desk and out of reach from anyone not on his staff, but yes you can see the hundreds of file jackets all in neat order.
Dr. Truong is not your state of the art leading edge kind of Doctor-he is a there for the disadvantaged and downtrodden because even the poor get sick and need medical attention! Not all of the poor people run to Parkland first because they know about Dr. Truong.
