  Our 3-year-old son has been attending Blue Ivey since he was 2-years-old. Previous to Blue Ivey, he has attended a total of three other daycare programs since the age of 7-weeks-old. We were initially happy with his care at these other daycares, but we would become hesitant once he transitioned on to the next class. As he got older, we wanted to make sure that he received the best learning opportunity, especially at the age between 2 and 3. This time is crucial, so as soon as we enrolled him into Blue Ivey, my husband and I have been very impressed. He loves going to "school" and because he is now in preschool 3 we do refer to Blue Ivey as his school. I love his first 2 teachers that teach the toddler classroom. My son adores his preschool 2 teacher and now that he is in preschool 3, we hope that he will like his teacher just the same. We really like how they have gotten my son to enjoy reading. Sometimes he prefers to read a book or his Highlights magazine over playing with his toys. He knows how to count in Spanish and he knows his colors in Spanish. He knows how to count to 30 and is getting there with his alphabets. They even teach the kids to start writing their names. I am impressed by how the front desk personnel and teachers know ALL of the student's names. They are very professional and friendly. Our son loves music class which is offered every Friday and he brings home art work and creative activities every week. I highly recommend Blue Ivey.

  Excellent does not adequately describe the quality of this school. The staff is amazing and they love the kids as their own. Ms. Nichols does a wonderful job at keeping us, the parents informed and involved. My son loves Ms. Thomas to pieces, as well as his teacher Ms. Jodi, who is great with the kids. It took my little one some time to get used to a new school, but the staff was so patient with him and really helped him get comfortable. Not only were they patient with him, but also me, since I would call everyday the first week to check on him. The lunches are healthy, and the school is very clean and inviting. I love this school and my son loves it more. There are so many activities for the kids to be involved in, which help them stay active. My son has learned so much being here and surprises me with things he knows. In my opinion, this is the best school around.
