We can't say enough about how thankful we are that our son goes to Sloan School. He genuinely loves the school and has a great time there. Everyone is incredibly nice and open. Our son is an extremely bright kid, so his teacher makes sure to challenge him to ensure he doesn't get bored. She's amazing! We couldn't ask for a better teacher. I couldn't imagine him going anywhere else.
I agree with the other reviewer who said she'd give the school more than five stars of she could. And for the reviewers who had issues with the school, I guess sometimes people end up in tricky situations or possibly blow things out of proportion. But so far, we haven't had anything bad happen to our child at the Sloan School since he started 5 years ago. They're very communicative with any mishaps or behavioral issues that come up.
My wife and I highly recommend this school.
Five stars does not seem sufficient. I'd give them more if I could. When we came to The Sloan School we had just come from a very bad experience and were nervous leaving our baby in the hands of another stranger, but we were instantly comforted by the professionalism and true compassion of each and every member of the Sloan staff. Within a week we were being greeted on a first name basis by everyone as if we'd been there forever. Each teacher in the school knew and loved on my son as if he was part of their own class. Every day we were greeted with bright smiles and someone was always there to open the door for us. Something so small, but makes such a big impact. We recently bought a house and had to make the tough decision to change schools as Sloan would just be too far away now. I cried the day we left. I can't tell you how much I appreciate every single person at Sloan for making us feel like family and for truly loving my son. The heart of Christ shines through in everything they do. The Sloan School is the place to be if you want peace of mind that your kiddo(s) is being well taken care of!
i was a student there and honestly they taught me such amazing morals to have that i still use today while in high school and will still use in my adult life. What i love about them is that their philosophy (what they teach young kids) is God loves everyone and everyone is equal in Gods eyes. A young child’s brain is like a sponge, and if you teach them early on that even if you’re gay, disabled, sinful, God still loves you, they’ll have that mindset for the rest of (if not the majority) of their life; which is how the mindset of a christian should be.
Felt compelled to leave a review after seeing some of these shockingly negative posts. We absolutely love Sloan School, and have very high expectations for our son's educational environment. He has been a preschool student at Sloan for the past year & our experience has been awesome! It's more than a school, it's a family of dedicated, loving, wonderful people who care about our kids and love them and want the very best for them. We are overjoyed with how much our son has learned and thrived here. We feel so lucky to be a part of the Sloan School family!
