  I come here once or twice a week. The fish and shrimp are great. And the hush puppies are awesome. And the guy at the counter is always very polite. I will definitely keep coming back

  I normally go to another catfish place in Irving, but they were unexpectedly closed today . . . and it was a good thing! We looked up other catfish places and, due to the menu, settled on Catfish House. This is a place well-worth going to. They have a very comprehensive menu (ceviche to catfish to shrimp cocktails) with tons of sides. There were a lot of us and we ended up ordering: catfish, corn nuggets, corn-on-the-cob, fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, hushpuppies, fries, fried okra, pickled green tomatoes. Everything was wonderful, they have a do-it-yourself cocktail sauce station (plus ready-made), a variety of drinks, and a very friendly staff.

(972) 438-4200. The food was really, really great! I asked for spicy and they worked it out!!! Listen up Catfish house when a black person ask you to fry their fish hard fry it hard! Don't be scared! For that reason I did not fully enjoy my whole catfish.
