  I’ve been at NHP for 7+ years now. I’ve loved almost every single bit of it. My classmates have become sort of my extended family and my teachers have become my friends. Everyone at NHP wants to see you do well and be the best version of yourself. Although it is a highly competitive environment, everyone is only motivating each other to do well. What the school doesn’t have in terms of sports is more than made up for in academics and student organizations. I am a current senior and cannot imagine going to another school. There are so many layers of support that are given to you. The counselors, the teachers, the deans; as I said before, every single person on campus is there for you. You are always treated with care here. The curriculum is very rigorous but allows for a lot of personal exploration. The teachers almost always make learning fun and interesting. The students are from a variety of backgrounds, and this helps people become more globally minded and culturally aware. Additionally, this helps with reducing bullying. In my experience, I have never witnessed anyone getting bullied at NHP. Bullying is non existent. Safety is never something to worry about here; everyone looks out for each other. NHP is home and I cannot stress that enough. If your child gets in through the lottery, you basically have won the jackpot. I have yet to find a single teacher at that doesn’t want you to succeed. I am so thankful for being able to attend NHP, as it has shaped me so much. Best school ever; I’m going to cry so much on graduation day.

  North Hills is a great school. Sure it may not be as good as the others, but overall it's a nice school. The people here are so nice and I attend this school so I am aware of the pros and cons. Most of the kids who wrote reviews probably just said North Hills is bad because it's a school. Just ignore them. North Hills has been improved over the summer with renovations which look great. Everyone here is so supportive. Middle school might be a little tight with many rules, but once you get into high school, there is so much freedom. The great thing about North Hills is, you can make friends so easily! Someone who is 2 grades higher might even be your friend. The education in the school is also very good. Some teachers aren't the best, but every school has some flaws with teachers. Middle school is pretty easy to go by, if you do the work it's easy to get good grades. Although, once you get into high school there is a lot of pressure and competition. Please send your child to North Hills. We'll see you there!
