  The easiest building permits office to work with in DFW. Most permit offices have bad attitudes and unreasonable expectations. These are some of the friendliest folks to work with and they are helpful in every way.

  This is a big thank you to Peggy the building inspector who has personally called me twice in regards to the leaking roof in my apartment. I consider that apartment my home, and especially when it comes to major issues like the roof leaking I don't think it's crazy to want to know what is going on. Sadly the apartment complex views giving a resident information as "special treatment". Thank you so much for calling me Peggy and explaining the situation. I am totally grateful.

  We are a general contractor in Dallas. We were behind with all the rain and had a couple clear days so we scheduled a roof replacement last minute and did not pull the permit prior.The city inspector Herb saw that the permit had not yet been pulled, he called us and allowed us and hour to get the permit pulled with out stopping our crew from working. Most cities would stop the job risking the homeowners house getting wet if a pop up storm was to happen. There is no question the city of Irving has the best interest of its homeowners.

  They are Keeping irving building standards maintained So we all have a nice place to Live.
