  I've lived at Water's Edge Villas — a peaceful and safe gated community — for almost five years. During the first couple of years of my residency, ownership changed hands and a few property managers came and left, so things were not always timely handled. However, since Tina (current property manager) arrived on the scene, responsiveness has greatly improved and nothing is left undone. Tina is professional, courteous, and efficient; and she jumps through hoops to keep tenants happy. Eric (maintenance) is polite and proficient. I frequently see him out early in the morning making sure the grounds are clean and well maintained. Tina and Eric are quite a dynamic duo!
  The community has been almost totally renovated during my residency, save the abodes of a couple long-term tenants. The renovation includes new flooring, appliances, and fixtures (blinds, etc.) in all residences. The color scheme is pleasant and comfortable.
  Community amenities at Water's Edge include covered parking/garage (at an additional cost), a pool, playground, outdoor kitchen, and fitness center. The pool is typically open sometime in June through September (I believe), and is reasonably well maintained. The fitness center is only accessible through the pool area, and therefore is not always available. It would be great if the fitness center were more readily accessible…like a coded lock so tenants could have access at their convenience.
  Overall, Water's Edge is a great place with wonderful people.

  After apartment searching for a few weeks, I’m happy to say I have found the one here. It was a pleasant application process and got accepted pretty fast and got moved in the same week I applied. Tina is great! She will help you with everything she can and is so sweet and outgoing.

  Water's Edge Villas is a great community for those looking for a peaceful quite community. The units are reasonably priced and larger then the new floor plans you typically see. Tina, the property manager, is wonderful and very personable. Eric, the Maintenance Director, is always taking care of everything in a timely manner. As someone who has experienced chaos among residence at many previous communities; I would recommend this location for those trying to avoid the craziness that many apartments have. I would of released, had I not gotten a new job across town in Ft. Worth.

  The apartments here are comfortable and quiet. The property is a few decades old and is located on a busy highway(66). A good value for what you get as the apartments are quite a bit larger than the newer ones you’ll find on the George Bush Expressway. Tina did a great job of following up on issues and concerns as they arose. I have no problem recommending this apartment to friends and family.

  I am writing this for my sister in law Tanya, who lives at Waters Edge Apartments. This is her second year. Tina the manager is such a great person to deal with. Tanya moved to a different apartment in the complex and Tina just made the move so easy. Its quiet and safe. Love that it is Gated. Maintenance is prompt and always done with a smile. We would definately recommend you choose this complex!
