“Dr Portteus is the best in his field! He does have a Yale education and was the former child psych director at Texas Children’s. He does not accept insurance, so it is costly, but WORTH it! We’ve been through a slew of psychiatrists, and although they may be cheaper- you can’t put a price or mental/emotional stability. Myself and two of my children have been seeing him for 5 years, and have complicated diagnoses. He has changed our lives and I would never see another psychiatrist besides him. He is brilliant, kind, patient, and actually respects parents who “do their research”, and values YOUR input and feedback. We are so thankful for him and I’m not sure we’d “be ok” without him. Denise, his office manger, is an absolute doll; super kind, compassionate, and an excellent communicator. Thank you to Dr Portteus, Denise, and his entire staff.”

“I have been using this pharmacy for three different compounded medications, and occasionally other medications, for about five years. Two are capsules and one is a hormone cream. They have been consistently reliable in making my medications to my doctor's specifications, and having them ready pretty quickly. They have also been accommodating when I wanted the color of a capsule changed, when I happened to have several of the same color, and was concerned about easily identifying which was which. I like that they're local, and can be quickly picked up through a drivethrough window. I've used other compounding pharmacies which were also good, but during summer months, really don't like medicine sitting in a hot delivery truck.”
