“Visited downtown Garland a couple weekends ago, and while roaming around, we decided to grab some takeout from The Blue Rat. It is my new favorite Thai place! The crab cream cheese puffs were so good, and you could actually see and taste the crab in them! It was the perfect ratio of filling to fried breading. For an entree, I went with the pad Thai so I could compare it to other restaurants. It had so much flavor, and the dish wasn’t dry, but actually a bit saucy. Very different from other pad Thai dishes I’ve tried. Service was fast, and the young man who took our order was friendly. If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend stopping here for a bite!”

“Great place to take the children. This was my children’s first experience in a go cart and they had a blast. We had to register since it was our very first time here and the process was fairly simple and quick. The best part of the visit was the way the staff was soooo patient with them giving instructions and helping them through the learning process. 10 out of 5 stars to the staff. Rose was very helpful at the counter and all the gentlemen in the pit area were extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.”

“Wooding Electric did a great job overall. We had electrical boxes added in our ceiling to center a chandelier and addition of two kitchen pendants. We also had several cans installed in place of track lighting. The technicians were very thoughtful and helped us plan out where to place our lighting for the best results. Our ceiling light fixtures were centered perfectly. They were very respectful and made sure that no mess was left after the job. I would definitely recommend to others and will use in the future.”

“We came here around 11 on a Sunday morning and had a wonderful experience. This family owned business beams with pride and wonderful flavors. When we arrived there were about 10 people ahead of us in line. We were able to order quickly and our food arrived in 10-15 minutes. We had the Chilaquiles, and chicken sandwich and both were fantastic. I also had one of their corn muffins, is was nothing like anything I have had, clearly made in house--it is worth trying. They also had a variety of juices and smoothies, in addition to a large breakfast and lunch menu. They roast their own coffee beans, we will have to go back and try them. They had patio seating for about 20 and about another 20 seats inside. It is very casual, order at the counter. It is a step up from a "hole in the wall" because it is very clean and inviting. Plenty of parking, accept credit or cash.”
