“This place has some BOMB cha lua. For you non-Viet folks, that's vietnamese pork - kind of like our version of ham. Put it in banh mi (bread). Eat it with banh cuon (rice rolls). Roll it into your spring rolls. Eat it with rice or vermicelli. Put it in your noodle soups! Heck, you can even eat it alone - it's that good. This stuff is awesome. This place has good quality cha lua and is cheaper than it's competitor across the street. The fam always stocks up on them and we store them in the freezer. It's located deep within the Hiep Thai plaza (if you're facing directly at Hiep Thai from the outside - it's located on the right).”

“Sitting here enjoying my Old Fashioned and bowl of French Fries watching the world go by on an amazing patio. I couldn't ask for any other way to end my long day of work and some stress, but at Hillside. Came here after passing it for a while on the way to work in Garland. So glad I stopped as from the door to the table to the bar everyone is so nice and boasts a relaxing atmosphere. With blues playing it is so easy to sip and enjoy everything they have to offer. Unfortunately it was a miss for me with the fried bologna sandwich, but the patty melt they brought instead was so amazing! It came on Texas Toast and was stuffed with tons of peppers and onions. Oh so melty, gooey, and good! And my waiter was so nice and kind about everything especially since I was so indecisive in the beginning about my food and drink orders. I definitely would come back for the chill atmosphere and food. Especially the fries that are house made and seasoned with heavenly sprinkles!!”

“We visited here for our first time due to having to evacuate from Hurricane Laura. Our servers name was Elena, and she was so nice to us and was quick about getting us whatever we asked for. The food was incredible, I got Seafood Combo b and my husband got the seafood Combo a. I got a side of the spicy sauce??? And wow, it was so spicy and garlicky, by far my most favorite place to eat Cajun style seafood. The Mexican Candy shots were incredible and my husband had an amazing blue Hawaiian. It was nice to have a good meal with drinks and such an awesome server. She really made our night. We’ll be back for sure?”

Have you ever been to a place that's not a real restaurant, but the staffing treat you as if they are right up there with the big guys. Never in all my years eating here have I heard not one grumble. I order my country fish cooked few seconds longer for extra crunch. When we were eating inside, I would find a corner, get my book. It's clean, quiet, and get this they attend to my refills. WOW!!! this is a drive in?? I order 3 piece 2 veggies , bread sticks, and a drink...give them a 10.00 and get change back?...l love this manager, and the staffing ....I also like the deserts?”

“It must say, this place is delicious! The menu has the perfect mix of Vietnamese/Japanese fusion cuisine. The soft shell salt n pepper crab was tasty but my new favorite roll is the Than Scallop Roll. Named after the owner, it contained succulent seared scallops topped of with drizzled spicy mayo, a touch of truffle oil and thin sliced lemon zest. I live in Houston and wish I could have this roll every weekend. We will be back to Oishii.”

They're abundant variation of grilled cheeses are great, but honestly my favorite orders from DGC are the wings. They're honestly better that many places that are wing-focused. They're cooked perfectly every time I order them, and the buffalo is the perfect amount of heat. Like a glass of cold water would soothe your mouth, but you don't need it. It's perfect. “Oceanside offers amazing ocean view, food, and service pool side. Staying at Omni Hotel and enjoyed the pools. Ordered pool side and everything we had was delicious. We had the Ocean Bowl, Seagull wings (chicken) , Fried Long Fin Calamari, Caesar salad and Fresh Catch Fish Tacos. The ocean bowl and Caesar was so fresh and tasted amazing, the fish tacos were bursting with flavors and the wings and calamari were so so good. The service was great and the staff members are friendly, they come poolside to take orders. Great food and drink options by the pool. Highly recommend!”
