“The guy working the register was pretty fast. I bought like two bottles of water and this shirt with a tuxedo graphic on it. I was busy thinking about how cool this new shirt is when the cashier says, "Sir, that will be 13.49." I didn't even have the time to pull out my wallet, and this guy started telling a joke. It went something like this: "so there were two hunters, Cletus and Bob, and they were hunting deer. So Cletus missed his shot and accidentally shot bob. He was freaking out and called 911. before the operator could even speak, Cletus yelled, "operator, I accidentally shot my friend." The operator, trying to stay calm, said, "Is he dead?" There was a long pause, then a gunshot, then bob said, "now he is." I didn't catch the cashiers name, but the joke was pretty funny. Customer service was ok, the store was ok, the shirt is cool.”

She makes her own compost and worm food from locally grown plants, fruits, veggies, etc. When introducing these worms into the lake/river/pond or whatever your water choice know that you are not introducing something outside of the natural ecosystem our yummy fish live in. The only reason it's not 5 stars: home business (that's fine), it lacks the professional appearance that one would expect with a home business.”

“Our entire family have been patients of Dr. Chhay, Advanced Dentistry in Grand Prairie, TX for over 19 years. Over the years, she has treated or children with braces, my husband and I with regular cleanings and occasional root canals. Dr. Chhay is an exceptionally gifted surgeon and dentist. She is highly concerned about preserving oral health and your natural teeth. She is meticulous in all parts of the treatment and ensures a smooth recovery. Her gentle touch provides almost pain free injections and my recent surgery of bone grafting was hugely successful. She explained all possible scenarios she could encounter during surgery and how she would respond to these different scenarios. I know I will need to keep a close eye on my oral health but with Dr. Chhay as my dentist I couldn't be in better hands. She puts extensive efforts in getting to know her patients which allows her to match treatments at a high precision level. I credit her not only with my improved oral health but also the aesthetic appearance of my smile. I'm a happy person who loves to laugh and smile. I get a lot of compliments on my perfect looking teeth. As far as office procedures, payments, and scheduling is concerned: Dr. Chhay is not in my healthcare network and my copay is different than with in-network dentists. However, no amount of money would want me to change her as my care provider because her genuine concern is priceless. I have been able to work out payment plans for larger bills and been able to use my flexible healthcare spending account. The office staff is very accommodating with appointments and even calls if a prior procedure is taking longer as expected. I observe her in teaching her assistants with patience and providing them with more than just the dental practice knowledge. She demonstrates exceptional professional manners. What also matters greatly to me is the level of diversity I notice in her patients. Since Covid their protocol avoids any patients in the waiting area but prior to Covid I always found the diversity refreshing. Everyone always confirmed what I experienced myself: she deeply cares for all patients and gives everyone their undivided attention. Last but not least, Dr. Chhay invests a great deal of her time to expand her knowledge and also shares her knowledge as a fulltime faculty member. Student praise her patience and passion for sharing her knowledge. As an educator myself, education greatly matters. And if you are as accomplished as Dr. Chhay it is even twice as impressive to keep learning, researching, and teaching. I highly recommend Dr. Chhay and her practice to anyone looking for the best dental treatment you can imagine.”

“We are zoned for Rosemont, but our neighbors kids are at Hogg. They seem really happy with the school. The principal is very motivated and the atmosphere at the school is upbeat and kind. The school is undenrolled, so class sizes are small. With a dual language immersion program, we considered having our son there, but we needed an after care option, and they don't have one yet. That may change soon, but for 2017-18, we stuck with our zoned school.”

“Lucy did my hair and it turned out perfect; she gave it volume and curl and it was so shiny.She really knows what she’s doing. It was busy in the shop but well organized. I received a glass of bubbly and watched a Christmas movie as I got my hair done. Perfect experience! I’ve gone to other blowout bars in the city and it wasn’t as nice of an experience—kinda felt like a blowout factory— but this was fun and relaxing and my hair turned out EXACTLY as I wanted! “I’m here now, I stay in a different hotel every night, all over the western states. This hotel deserves more stars than the 5 available to give in my book. I do a bit of traveling for work. I am unimpressed with some of the reviews given on here. Some of you people really expect to have your hand held when you leave home. This place is clean, updated, and affordable. The front desk lady is direct and helpful. I will admit I questioned my reservation, thinking it to be charged twice, to only looking stupid in the end. What can I say, long day of work, hangry, and just want to rest. Pool is open, breakfast will be there in the morning, Bed is comfortable, my pet peeve is the cleanliness of the bathroom. It is super clean. Personally, I couldn’t ask for better. If the lady this evening is present in the morning, I will thank her and the other staff for a great nights stay.”
