Rustic + Modern Handcrafted Furniture

Rustic and Modern built & stained barn doors for 3 bedrooms in our home. They are absolutely beautiful, we love them. Hunter met with us and walked us through the entire process down to the delivery. They did wonderful job building them and were very easy to work with. Couldn’t be happier.

We moved to McKinney, Texas in October of 2020. My wife and I for over a decade had always talked about having a custom dining room table made because we wanted something special and timeless and could never find anything that just stuck with us out of a furniture store. We found Rustic + Modern Handcrafted Furniture shortly after arriving and set up a consultation with them. My wife described what she envisioned it being and Hunter worked with us to make it a reality. We have both been just speechless over the last couple of days after receiving it. It is everything we imagined it would be, wanted it to be, and even more. Thank you to Hunter and the entire Rustic team. You have made our dream come true.

I am so happy with my table from Rustic + Modern! Ken and his craftsmen team did a great job and the attention to detail was incredible. I’d highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a custom table, and I myself will be back as a repeat customer when we’re ready for a kitchen table. :)

The owner/craftsmen were amazing from start to finish. We stopped by the workshop to discuss dining table options and ended up ordering a 108" long knotty alder table with special walnut stain. The estimated delivery time was pretty close and the 3rd party service for delivery were very careful with the dining table. I was extremely pleased with the quality of work. The table is rock solid and will serve several generations. I highly recommend these folks if you are looking for solid wood tables. Please support your local craftsmen. Their prices are reasonable and comparable to any other furniture store that offers similar products. I had the privilege of taking pics of their workshop as the table was being stained and it looks beautiful in our dining room. It also seats 10 people. We ordered chairs from a different furniture store (solid maple with distressed finish).

We contacted Rustic and Modern about building us a dining room table for our new home. We met with Hunter to discuss our ideas and he was very knowledgeable. The price was great for what we were getting and they stuck to the time line quoted. The table was delivered with out a hiccup and we couldn't be happier. Great job guys.
